Background

HISP ZM was established under the laws of Zambia as a company limited by guarantee. It was founded in 2015 by a team of multi-disciplinary professionals with over 30 years of experience in HEALTH AND SOCIAL information systems; monitoring and Evaluation; and technology.

HISP ZM is a non-profit company dedicated to the development and implementation of sustainable and integrated HEALTH AND SOCIAL Information Systems. The systems must serve to empower communities, health workers and decision makers in order to improve coverage, quality and efficiency of health services in Zambia and internationally.

HISP ZM is a developing local organization that understands the Zambian context, health programs, the Health Information Management System (HMIS) and a member of the Health Information Systems Partnership Organization. HISP ZM works with and is part of the family of other HISP organizations working with University of Oslo to improve M&E systems based on the DHIS2 software.
